Certain situations may require faster delivery or specialized shipping arrangements beyond our standard options. Use the following information to help answer questions and support customers requesting alternative or expedited shipping options.
Guidelines
Do not proactively offer alternative or expedited shipping options.
Shipping method is determined by item size and sales agreement.
Expedited options are available for direct sales or replacement orders only.
Alternative shipping options are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
Alternative or expedited shipping fees must be quoted and prepaid by the customer using PayPal or Stripe.
Retailer orders are not eligible for alternate or expedited shipping changes through Castico directly.
Alternative Shipping Options
Expedited Shipping for Larger Items:
While standard LTL carriers do not offer express or expedited shipping, customers may request or arrange larger items to be shipped using the following alternate shipping methods for an additional shipping fee:Truckload Services (full truck rental)
Hot-Shot Services (single-item direct delivery)
Expedited Shipping for Small Items:
Products eligible for ground shipping may also be shipped via express or expedited services if requested. Additional charges will apply based on the selected service.
Special Instructions for Retailers
Requests to expedite or change shipping methods for orders placed through retailers, such as Home Depot or Lowe’s, must be arranged directly between the customer and the retailer.
Castico must follow the shipping methods authorized by the retailer and cannot independently modify shipping arrangements for these orders.
